Triple Force Friday

The Force is strong this Friday....
What do you get when three crazy epic upcoming Star Wars adventures collide? Triple Force Friday! Read on to hear all about one out of this world day at Lucasfilm and all the galactic goodness coming your way TODAY...

I was invited by Disney to attend the Triple #ForceFriday Global Reveal media day at Lucasfilm. It was such an honor to attend the event which was chock full of stellar Star Wars news and all the latest and greatest products hitting the shelves and online TODAY.
The Star Wars galaxy is about to get a whole lot more amazing in the upcoming months with the worldwide releases of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game, The Mandalorian and of course the much awaited Rise of Skywalker, the final installment to the Skywalker saga.

Lucasfilm, the heart of Star Wars
Our media day began in the heart of where the magic happens, Lucasfilm. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area we're quite a ways from an actual Disney park. Yet thankfully, we still have an abundance of Disney and magic right here in our backyard. Lucasfilm and Industrial Light and Magic are nestled in the gorgeous SF Persido. The building itself is one that can be overlooked since it blends seamlessly with the surrounding area. But if you look closely you'll encounter a Yoda Fountain and past that, the entrance to Lucasfilm. The studios itself are private, but we were told the lobby is open to the public during business hours. The iconic Yoda fountain is open to the public all week long.

While waiting for the event to begin, we were greeted by a familiar droid booping and beeping around.

Global Reveal
We were escorted into the theatre for the global reveal which consisted of a few introductions from the amazing "force" at Lucasfilm. We were welcomed by Lynwen Brennan, EVP and General Manager at Lucasfilm and also Paul Southern, the SVP of Licensing for Lucasfilm.
Anthony Carboni, the host of the Star Wars show then came onstage to began the simultaneous Live Stream of the event which was held at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Here's all the info we were given during the live stream:

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
We opened with a look at Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The single player action-adventure game takes place a little bit after the events of "Revenge of the Sith". The game's story follow Cal, as young padawan as he tries to outrun and outsmart the Galactic Empire who's after him. Phew, sounds exciting, right?
As a treat for us at Lucasfilm, the video game's creators and lead actor, Cameron Monaghan were there to discuss the storyline, his character and more.

The Mandalorian
The new and original series is coming our way on November 12th and being released exclusively on Disney+. Don't know the deal with Disney+ yet? It's about to be the newest streaming juggernaut which will feature all your favorite Disney, Pixar and Star Wars classic and beloved films. But also tons of great new content, including this Star Wars story about a bounty hunter in a galaxy far, far away. We can't wait to see what The Mandalorian is all about, but for the time being, you can check out all the amazing products coming out today to prep for the fun!

The Rise of Skywalker
The finale to the Star Wars/Skywalker saga that we all know and love. To honor the end, a ton of new products will be coming your way, too! Everything from clothing, costumes for the family, LEGOS!!! Even a few special edition and collectable figurines! It was also great to see the reveal of some of the newest characters that will be introduced in the final film, along with their character products!

Galactic Fun for all!
It was truly an honor to be able to cover the Triple Force Friday event. Once again, a huge thank you to Disney for the invite and to Star Wars and Lucasfilm for the amazing event they put together! We can't wait to get our hands on some of these new products and we hope you enjoy them, too!
A special shout out to a few of my fellow Bay Area based blogger/Instagram pals who were also there at the event. What's amazing about this social media life are the connections I've been able to make with so many people, including these amazing women. Our Disney fandom ended up leading to real life friendships and I'm thankful for that. Here's to hoping for more magical memories together in the future. Theres a saying that true queens fix each others crowns, girls supporting girls, etc and each of these incredible gals do jus that!
