I LOVE THIS SHOP! I repeat, I LOVE THIS SHOP! Jocelyn, the mom boss behind this shop is the talented creator behind the cutest felt baby ears you'll ever lay your eyes on. She was kind enough to send over a few pairs of her ears right after Ben was born and I've been obsessed with her creations ever since! She not only dreams up the cutest baby ear designs, but she's also a total sweetheart! Baby Ben and I can also vouch that these are the perfect pairs of "ears" for your little babe. Ben usually hates wearing things on his head, but Forever Dream Design's felt headband ears are so comfy and he never seems to mind them while on. This shop and ears are literally my favorite Disney Baby accessory for any park visit!

PB&J Loves List: New Mama Edition

Becoming a new mom literally feels like you're entering into a whole new world (Disney pun from a Disney mom? LOL)

It's a world full of patience, endurance, multitasking and care. You quickly learn that you can (pretty much have to) function on little to no sleep. You learn how to eat, feed your child and amuse a bored dog all at once. It's a world where you find your inner strength because it's not just about you anymore, it's about you and your child now. 😀

This is why I'm so excited to share my latest "PB&J Loves List" in this post. You may recall that I had a "Loves List" a few months ago featuring some of my favorite maternity goodies, but this time around, it's all about mama-hood and all the things that I've learned that as a new mom, I can't live without!

Lalabubaby
One of the most amazing things about having a baby is all the cuddle time you get with them. As much as I love holding my little Ben, sometimes my arms need a break. So when Lalabubaby contacted me about their unique "soothe shirt" I was definitely all about it. The Soothe Shirt is a unique alternative to traditional baby wearing. It's designed to look like a regular women's tank, but there's a stealthy hidden carrier panel to place your newborn in, as well as acting as a stylish nursing tank.

I absolutely love the Soothe Shirt because it allows me to be close to my little Ben, comfortably might I add, then have some arm freedom. What's great about this company is that they also have a dad version of their Soothe Shirt. Yes mama's you heard that right! A DAD version, so that way all the daddies out there have a chance to baby wear as well!

Skye Footwear
As a c-section mama, I faced a ton of challenges during my recovery phase. One of the activities my doctors encouraged me to do to speed up the healing process was to walk as much as possible. But with a c-section also comes limited movement, namely, bending... especially bending over to tie shoelaces! It pretty much left me to my ballet flats and flip flops as postpartum options for footwear. Definitely non ideal options for middle of winter walks or activities.

SRC Recovery Leggings
Throughout my pregnancy my absolute favorite thing to wear were leggings. So it's no surprise that in my postpartum phase leggings remained my go to clothing item! Let's just say I'm a leggings girl at heart. 

I was thrilled to review SRC's pregnancy leggings in my original "Loves List" post a few months back since they became my go to maternity bottoms. So I'm even more excited to share my love for their post birth recovery leggings!

SRC Health specializes in leggings and shorts for moms and mom's to be. While their maternity leggings provided relief for those pesky pregnancy body symptoms like back, hip and leg pains, their recovery version is a godsend of support for any mama in the postpartum phase.

Again, as a c-section mama, I would cringe at anything that would look like it could rub against my inaction site because.. OUCH. Regular leggings were out as an option because their waistbands would be too near my incision site and basically, it's hard to wear pre-baby leggings in general after birth because... HIPS OH MY! LOL. And one would think that just wearing your old maternity leggings would help since they would come up over the belly. But I found that my plain knit maternity leggings just didn't provide enough support. So I was so thankful when I received my recovery SRC leggings! They not only provided the much needed tummy support for a post baby belly, but they just feel.... amazing. They are much sturdier than my regular knit leggings and have that awesome "athleisure" looking style rather than my standard cotton knit leggings.

The SRC recovery leggings have been my #1 go to piece of daily clothing during my entire post birth phase!

Our PB&J favorite holiday things!

With the holidays in full swing and Christmas literally around the corner, I thought it'd be fun to list a few of my favorite things this holiday season!

KEEP Collective x Disney
Who doesn't love Disney jewelry?! I know I do! It's my perfect way to infuse a bit of Disney into everyday life when I can't be at the parks. Right now, I'm absolutely LOVING the KEEP Collective Disney collection. If you haven't heard about KEEP, check out their site HERE. I See Me! Books
I've mentioned these books before in my previous "Loves List" post, but I love them so much, I just had to mention them again! One of our favorite pastimes with Baby PB&J is storytime. We love to read him all sorts of books and feel him give happy kicks in reaction to them. When we received our I See Me! books, we instantly fell in love with them. Our absolute favorite has to be from their personalized pet book collection. Yes, you read that right, I See Me! books are personalized children's books and they have a whole book collection dedicated to your own furry family member. We were able to customize a book to be all about our own little pup, Datsy! It's literally the most adorable book we've ever read.

Hello Sweetie Pies
I love sweets. I mean, I really, really love sweets. Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than a cute pair of mouse ears! I've been known to be an ear "aficionado" and actually have quite a collection of Disney headwear. I just can't get enough! November PB&J Loves List!

November PB&J Mama Loves List!

Pregnancy has brought about so many wonderful moments with our little rainbow on the way! From watching my baby bump grow, to discovering all the fun this journey has along the way, it's brought about so much love and happiness into our little PB&J world.

In what I'm hoping I can do every so often is a "PB&J Loves" list! It'd basically be a few of my favorite things that I've come across, bought or been gifted that'd I'd love to share with you all. So let's get to some of my November favorite things: Mama edition!

Disney Baby
For this Disney loving mama, Disney Baby has been my absolute favorite "go to" for outfitting and prepping for Baby PB&J's arrival! I'm truly becoming addicted to baby clothes shopping for our little one. And yes, I know he'll be growing out of his clothing in the blink of an eye, but I can't help it when I find the cutest items like this:
Fun fact about this alien sweater, I had originally seen a version of it at Tokyo Disney during our Healing Trip last February. We didn't pick it up since we were still healing from the loss of our angel son, but I remember taking a photo and mentioning that "someday" I'd be able to find and use it for a little rainbow. That "someday" has become present day and now we have one for our little miracle to wear when he arrives!

Another beautiful thing I've found during this pregnancy is the kindness from my beautiful friends on here! Social Media is the most amazing thing, it has connected me with some of the sweetest souls, fellow mamas, Disney fans and more. Not only has their support been amazing, but some have even sent some generous and amazing gifts our way for baby PB&J! 
Our little one is Mouseketeer ready, all thanks for my dear friend Naylise!

I have been told over and over again that babies grow so quickly that they end up growing out of their clothing super fast or never even get to wear certain items. My fellow Disney mama, Rachel contacted me and generously donated an entire boxful of her son's old Disney Baby clothing! This was something that truly touched my heart and I hope to continue this act of kindness and donate Baby PB&J's Disney clothing to another fellow expecting Disney mama in the future, too!

Books on Books on Books!
One of our favorite pastimes right now is reading to Baby PB&J each night! Our little one already has a growing baby book library. It's been the most amazing thing to read to him and feel him respond with his little (or really BIG) kicks when story time starts!

One beautiful book we have come across has been from "I See Me!" personalized books. I See Me! specializes in personalized children's books that are beyond adorable. They even have a line of Pet themed books that are guaranteed to be the cutest pet book you'll ever read! You can customize the pet to look like your own fur baby and some book sets even come with a personalized bandana and placemat for your pup! We got one personalized for our first "baby", our frenchie, Datsyuk. Let's just say that this book has been our #1 to read to both Baby PB&J and Datsy on a daily basis since it has arrived!

Not only are these adorable books a joy for kids (or your fur baby), but the company is doing something quite wonderful in honor of the holiday season. I See Me! books is participating in the Letters of Love campaign which is a collaboration with the Children's Cancer Research Fund (CCRF). It's so simple to do, just go to the site and write a few encouraging words of hope and love to a child. For every 50 letters I See Me! receives, they'll donate a personalized book to a child supported by the CCRF. You can also donate directly to the CCRF and spread a little joy to a child who may need it this year!

Maternity Style
The last thing on my "loves" list this month is my love of all things comfy and lovely for my growing baby belly. Maternity wear!

I was sent a pair of these amazing SRC Pregnancy Leggings to review and I can honestly say that I absolutely love them! They are a specially designed pair of leggings for the mom to be in mind. They provide a gentle compression to help improve stability, reduce swelling and improve muscle tone. The compression was something I was worried about at first, but once the leggings are on, they feel so comfortable. I can liken the feeling to that of wearing tights, lightweight and providing support. The leggings can be worn alone and have a great "activewear" look to them. They're also thin enough to wear underneath clothing, so a big plus for those chilly winter months coming up. The leggings can also can help reduce pelvic pain due to it's ergonomic structure and provide support to where you need it most during pregnancy. All in all, a big win!

As much as I love pregnancy and my growing bump, I have been having the non fun aspects that come with a changing body, the aches and pains. I have a small case of pregnancy sciatica and now that I'm in my 3rd trimester, the pregnancy aches have been coming in full force (hello, hip discomfort!). Daily activities used to be quite tiresome, but thankfully, with stretching, light exercise and support like SRC Leggings, I have been able to manage the physical aches and stay active!
